Registered Nurse – Long Term Care

About the role

Citizens Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to work full‑time or part‑time at Prairie Senior, its long‑term care facility in Colby. The RN will supervise staff, provide direct resident care, and ensure a compassionate, home‑like environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise CNAs, NAs and other staff, and provide direct resident care using the nursing process.
• Conduct nursing assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate resident outcomes.
• Receive and record physician orders, administer medications and treatments safely and timely.
• Assist the Director of Nursing with overall nursing service activities and staff supervision.
• Educate residents, families and employees and promote positive interpersonal relationships.

Required profile

• Current RN license.
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Knowledge of nursing theory, practices and the State Nurse Practice Act.
• Ability to work professionally with geriatric residents, families and interdisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• CPR certification.
