Registered Nurse (Level 3) – Maternal & Pediatric Care

About the role

The Northeast Delta Human Services Authority seeks a Registered Nurse Level 3 to join the RISE Treatment Center team. This position provides compassionate, patient‑centered care to pregnant women with substance use disorders and their children, working within a multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians, counselors, and case managers to develop individualized care plans.
• Conduct comprehensive health assessments for pregnant clients and pediatric patients, including vital signs, prenatal care needs, and routine child health checks.
• Lead medication‑management clinics: screen symptoms, record vital signs, calculate BMI, and collect specimens for lab testing.
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and immunizations while ensuring adherence to protocols.
• Review and prepare client charts, including AIMS, consent forms, lab monitoring paperwork, and psychiatric updates.
• Make appropriate referrals to community resources and care managers based on observed health needs.

Required profile

• Current Louisiana RN license or valid multi‑state NLC/eNLC license.
• Either two years of RN experience, or a BSN with one year RN experience, or an MSN/MPH/Doctorate with one year RN experience.
• Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, patient‑focused care in a treatment setting.
