Registered Nurse

About the role

Koniver Wellness is dedicated to patient care and service, and is looking for a Registered Nurse in Charleston. The RN provides direct patient care, supports clinical operations and works with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, supportive and professional environment for all patients.
• Promote health and wellness through patient education and administer prescribed treatments according to clinical protocols and organizational standards.
• Act as a liaison between providers and patients, answering questions and explaining treatment plans.
• Perform IV therapy, including initiation, monitoring and management of infusions, following safety and infection-control standards.
• Conduct patient assessments, including health histories, screenings, vital signs and evaluation of patient needs.
• Document assessments, treatments, communications and outcomes accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
• Maintain knowledge of clinical services, treatments and wellness products to educate and support patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
• Protect patient confidentiality and take part in professional development, staff meetings and training.
• Support daily clinic operations through teamwork, administrative assistance and other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Licensed to practice in South Carolina.
• Experience with IV administration required.
• Able to stand and treat patients for the duration of the day.
• Able to use a computer or similar device for electronic charting.
• Able to bend, crouch, kneel, walk and lift up to 20 lbs.
