Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology (Full‑Time)

About the role

The University of Miami Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse 2 to provide patient‑family centered care in the Interventional Radiology specialty. This full‑time, on‑call position supports a culturally competent environment and oversees nursing and allied health staff.

Key responsibilities

• Assess assigned patients, document nursing care, and report changes in condition and vital signs.
• Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments, and assist during those interventions.
• Consult with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and evaluate patient care plans.
• Administer medications safely, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines such as HIPAA.
• Serve as a preceptor for new staff, providing guidance and support in clinical practice.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred (ASN acceptable with 2‑year BSN completion window).
• Valid Florida Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology nursing experience.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
