Registered Nurse (International Visa Sponsorship) - Southeast Region

About the role

AdventHealth is hiring a full-time day-shift Registered Nurse in its Southeast Region, with international visa sponsorship available. The nurse works in an acute care setting and supports the care of patients while working closely with physicians, patients and families.

Key responsibilities

• Adhere to medication safety policies and support quality standards and initiatives.
• Evaluate the nursing plan of care and communicate patient responses to the team.
• Participate in practice changes driven by performance improvement activities.
• Maintain safe practice through unit-specific clinical competency, regulatory compliance and accurate documentation.
• Follow CDC isolation guidelines and handwashing policies.
• Record and access patient information in electronic medical records and set patient goals based on assessment and diagnosis.
• Assist providers with bedside procedures and complete mandatory educational requirements.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in an acute care setting.
• Associate's degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's degree preferred.
• NCLEX pass letter and/or active license required; additional licensure or certification may apply depending on unit or state.
• Demonstrated competency in English and verbal communication.
