Registered Nurse (International Visa Sponsorship) - Mid America Region

About the role

AdventHealth is hiring a full-time day-shift Registered Nurse in Shawnee Mission, Kansas, with international visa sponsorship available. The nurse works in an acute care setting and supports the smooth operation of the department.

Key responsibilities

• Adhere to medication safety policies and support quality standards and initiatives.
• Evaluate the nursing plan of care and communicate patient responses to the team.
• Participate in practice changes driven by performance improvement activities.
• Maintain safe practice through unit-specific clinical competency and regulatory compliance, including CDC isolation guidelines and handwashing policies.
• Record and access patient information in electronic medical records and set patient goals based on assessment and diagnosis.
• Assist providers with bedside procedures and complete mandatory educational requirements.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in an acute care setting.
• NCLEX pass letter and/or active license; additional licensure or certification may apply depending on unit or state.
• Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Demonstrated competency in English and verbal communication.

Pay range: $32.83 - $61.05. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
