Registered Nurse (International Visa Sponsorship) - Daytona Beach

About the role

AdventHealth is hiring a full-time day-shift Registered Nurse in Daytona Beach, Florida, with international visa sponsorship available. The nurse works in an acute care setting and supports the smooth operation of the department.

Key responsibilities

• Adhere to medication safety policies and support quality standards and initiatives.
• Evaluate the nursing plan of care and communicate patient responses to the team.
• Assist providers with bedside procedures and set and achieve patient goals based on assessment and diagnosis.
• Maintain safe practice through unit-specific clinical competency, regulatory compliance, and following CDC isolation guidelines and handwashing policies.
• Accurately document and monitor patients, record and access patient information in electronic medical records, and complete mandatory education.
• Participate in practice changes driven by performance improvement activities.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in an acute care setting.
• NCLEX pass letter and/or active license; additional licensure or certification may apply depending on unit or state.
• Associate's degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Demonstrated competency in English and verbal communication.

Pay range: $31.85 - $52.76. Positions may be subject to Florida Level 2 background screening, including fingerprinting.
