Registered Nurse – Infectious Disease Clinic (ACC)

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) will lead patient care in an Infectious Disease Clinic, applying the nursing process within the Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards. The RN will coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to achieve high‑quality outcomes while respecting cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Assess learning needs and implement teaching strategies for patients, families, and other disciplines.
• Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources, both human and fiscal.
• Use data and evidence to evaluate practices and promote improvements.
• Promote patient satisfaction and staff morale through professional behavior.
• Adapt interactions to respect patient privacy and cultural preferences.
• Perform additional related duties as required.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and judgment skills.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities and confidentiality awareness.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Leadership experience or supervisory experience preferred.
