Registered Nurse – Home Infusion Center (Lafayette)

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Home Infusion Center in the Lafayette region. The RN will provide patient‑centered care using the Nursing Process, support the interdisciplinary team, and contribute to the center’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Apply the Nursing Process to deliver safe, high‑quality patient care.
• Assess patient and family learning needs and provide appropriate education.
• Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources effectively.
• Lead and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Utilize data and clinical information to drive improvements in patient care.
• Promote customer satisfaction and employee morale through professional conduct.

Required profile

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• RN diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• No prior experience required; infusion environment experience preferred.
• PICC/Midline certification highly preferred.
• Proficient computer skills for data entry and Windows‑based applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and time‑management abilities.
