Registered Nurse – General Medicine (Day Shift)

About the role

The General Medicine unit provides compassionate, evidence‑based care for adults with complex, non‑surgical illnesses. As a Registered Nurse you will deliver safe, therapeutic care on a 26‑bed unit, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Document patient interactions in real time with Ambient Listening voice‑activated documentation.
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and support staff.
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and respond to emergencies.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and discharge instructions.

Required profile

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• At least one year of RN experience, preferably in medical‑surgical or general medicine settings.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency with Ambient Listening voice‑activated documentation system.
