Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Room team, providing direct patient care to veterans. This position is eligible for the VA Education Debt Reduction Program, offering loan repayment assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room, including assessment, treatment, and documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to ensure high‑quality, timely care.
• Maintain compliance with VA policies and standards of practice.

Required profile

• Proficiency in written and spoken English as required by 38 U.S.C. 7403(f).
• Graduation from a nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE, or equivalent foreign qualification with recognized equivalency evaluation.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a professional nurse in a U.S. state, territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
• Eligibility to apply for the Education Debt Reduction Program within four months of appointment.
