About the role
UF Health Durbin Park Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its 24‑hour Emergency Department. This full‑time position works a mid‑shift from 1 PM to 1 AM, supporting a new state‑of‑the‑art facility opening in fall 2026.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast‑paced emergency setting.
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients according to clinical urgency.
- Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and support staff to deliver timely interventions.
- Document care accurately in the hospital’s electronic medical record system.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment in compliance with infection‑control standards.
Required profile
- Current RN licensure in the state of Florida.
- Experience in emergency or acute care nursing preferred.
- Ability to work the designated 1 PM‑1 AM shift.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
