Registered Nurse – Chemotherapy Infusion (CTU) – Full‑Time

About the role

The University of Miami Health System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Chemotherapy Infusion (CTU) unit in Doral. This full‑time position involves delivering high‑quality patient care, managing complex infusion therapies, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Complete patient assessments, document interactions, and make referrals while considering age and cultural factors.
• Administer medications and treatments, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with regulatory policies.
• Reassess and document the effectiveness of interventions, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Communicate care plans clearly to patients, families, and team members.
• Participate in policy development, serve on committees, and lead unit‑level improvement projects.
• Provide preceptorship, act as Charge or Resource Nurse, and support discharge planning from admission.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Valid State of Florida RN license.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant nursing experience, preferably in oncology or infusion therapy.
• Demonstrated advanced competency in nursing practice and ability to evaluate and adjust care plans.
