Registered Nurse, Adult Emergency (Night Shift 7p-7a)

About the role

AdventHealth Celebration is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for its Adult Emergency Department, working the night shift from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. with rotating weekends and holidays. The department is a 50-bed emergency unit described as the busiest in Osceola County, offering acute, intermediate and fast-track care, and is part of a network where nurses can float among other Celebration ED locations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform venous access procedures within the scope of RN licensure, ensuring proper technique and patient safety
• Administer and monitor infusion therapy treatments, adjusting care plans based on patient response
• Assess patients' conditions to choose appropriate venous access methods and address complications
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients needing venous access and infusion therapy
• Educate patients on venous access and infusion therapy

Required profile

• Associate's degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's degree preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certification (required)
• 1+ years of nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred
• 1+ charge nurse or relevant leadership experience preferred
• Eligible candidates receive a $15,000 sign-on bonus and a $3,000 relocation bonus; internal candidates and rehires within 12 months are not eligible, and relocation eligibility requires living 50 miles outside the campus
