About the role
The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse 2 to provide patient‑family centered care for pediatric and adolescent gynecology patients in Miami, FL.
Key responsibilities
- Assess assigned patients, document nursing care, and modify treatment plans based on patient response and physician orders.
- Review, evaluate, and report diagnostic test results to guide patient care.
- Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments while considering age and cultural factors.
- Administer medications and perform patient tests safely, maintaining accurate records.
- Communicate care plans to patients, families, and the care team, ensuring HIPAA compliance.
- Assist with discharge planning and serve as a preceptor for new staff.
