About the role

The University of Miami is seeking a Registered Nurse 2 to join its Multispecialty Clinics at Lennar in Coral Gables. This full‑time position provides direct patient care, collaborates with physicians, and supports a compassionate clinical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients, document nursing care, and report changes in condition and vital signs.
• Modify treatment plans based on patient response, physician orders, and diagnostic test results.
• Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments while considering age and cultural factors.
• Administer medications and perform patient tests safely, maintaining accurate records in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Communicate care plans to patients, families, and the care team, ensuring HIPAA compliance.
• Assist with discharge planning, operate medical equipment, and serve as a preceptor for new staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Active Registered Nurse license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum two years of nursing experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, nursing care methods, and health‑safety guidelines.
