Registered Nurse 2 – Full-time at UHealth Sole Mia

About the role

The University of Miami is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse 2 to join the UHealth Sole Mia team. In this role you will deliver patient‑family centered care, uphold evidence‑based standards, and support a culturally competent environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess assigned patients, document nursing care, and report changes in condition and vital signs.
• Modify treatment plans based on patient responses, physician orders, and clinical guidelines.
• Review diagnostic tests, consult with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and develop comprehensive care plans.
• Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments while considering age and cultural factors.
• Administer medications safely, maintain accurate medication records, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Communicate care plans to patients, families, and the care team, and facilitate smooth transitions of care.
• Serve as a preceptor for new staff, providing guidance and constructive feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Valid State of Florida RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
