Registered Dietitian

About the role

ChesPenn seeks a Registered Dietitian to provide high‑quality health education and nutrition counseling to diverse, at‑risk populations in a busy community health center.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with primary care providers to identify patients needing nutrition education and develop group and individual programs covering diabetes, weight management, cardiovascular disease, renal disease, and more.
• Design, implement, and evaluate comprehensive education sessions, collect measurable outcomes, and report activity data to the Chief Medical Officer.
• Assist patients of all ages with counseling, service referrals, and obtaining necessary supplies, while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Required profile

• Master’s degree preferred and at least two years of experience as a licensed dietitian.
• Experience delivering education to culturally diverse populations, preferably in an outpatient setting.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time‑management skills; ability to work independently and as a team player.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computer systems and familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
