Registered Behavior Technician – School Based

About the role

Join BAYADA’s RBT Academy and become a Certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) working with school‑aged children with Autism and other developmental disabilities. You will provide direct, evidence‑based behavior support in classroom settings across Oahu.

Key responsibilities

• Implement behavior therapy techniques and support students according to individualized service plans.
• Collect and document behavior data, track progress toward goals, and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams to promote skill acquisition and independence.
• Provide training and assistance to help students develop functional and interpersonal skills.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or 48 college credits (including Math 100 and English 100), or High School Diploma/GED with ParaPro Praxis assessment (assistance available).
• No prior experience required; must complete RBT Academy and pass the RBT exam.

Required skills

• Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques.
• Behavior data collection and documentation.
