Regional Vice President, Business Development – Chicago

About the role

Source Logistics is looking for a senior business development leader to drive new logo acquisition in the high‑density Food & Beverage market in Chicago. The role will own a defined territory, leverage existing industry relationships and build a pipeline of target accounts to expand our logistics and supply‑chain services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a 30/60/90‑day plan to target named Food & Beverage accounts in the Chicago region.
• Activate and expand existing industry relationships to generate qualified prospects.
• Build self‑sourced pipeline aligned with annual revenue goals and manage the sales process through HubSpot CRM.
• Conduct consultative discovery calls, design customized logistics solutions, and present proposals with pricing strategies.
• Displace incumbent 3PL providers by delivering superior service design and relationship management.
• Collaborate with Operations, Solutions and Account Management teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding and long‑term success.
• Represent Source Logistics at industry events, trade shows and networking opportunities.
• Provide regular territory updates, forecasts and activity reports to leadership.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in Food & Beverage‑adjacent commercial, business development or sales roles.
• Proven track record of acquiring new logos and meeting revenue targets in the logistics or 3PL space.
• Deep, portable relationships within the Food & Beverage industry.
• Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills.
