Regional Sales Manager - Orthopaedic Instruments, Northern California

About the role

Stryker is looking for a Regional Sales Manager for its Orthopaedic Instruments business covering Northern California. This is a field-based position in which you plan, direct and coordinate the selling activities of sales representatives under your supervision, while working closely with the Director of Sales to maximise sales opportunities in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, direct and coordinate the sales activities of sales representatives under your supervision.
• Interview, hire, train and develop top-level talent.
• Develop plans with the Director of Sales to maximise sales opportunities and exceed goals.
• Support your reps and customers whenever needed, with a strong focus on service.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university; MBA or MA preferred.
• 5+ years of sales or sales management experience.
• Challenging, team-oriented, relationship-building and strategic closers who are customer-focused and persistent.

What we offer

• Salary of $162,500 plus bonus and commission eligibility, with a target total compensation potential of $287,500 at plan.
• Field sales training and an in-house product training program.
• Travel of up to 75%.
