Regional Sales Consultant (Internal Wholesaler)

About the role

AllianceBernstein's Strategic Sales & Service department is looking for a Regional Sales Consultant to support its sales initiatives, client servicing and relationship-building in partnership with an external wholesaler in an assigned territory. The role promotes the sale of the firm's proprietary investment services through third-party distribution channels, understands client needs and helps develop relevant sales ideas. It also prepares candidates for potential external wholesaler or other opportunities across the firm.

Key responsibilities

• Understand the firm's mission, values and product offerings in the U.S. retail market
• Work closely with the external wholesaler to develop a sales and servicing strategy for the assigned region
• Make proactive servicing and sales calls to existing and prospective clients and receive inbound calls
• Partner with the wholesaler to maintain high-quality activity and seize strategic opportunities
• Support the wholesaler in meeting client expectations and executing client requests
• Conduct competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and advance existing ones
• Travel periodically into the sales region

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Economics or Marketing, with strong academic performance and leadership experience
• Two years of financial industry experience preferred
• Registered with Series 7 and 63 or 66 licenses
• Client-focused, detail-oriented, able to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter with strong analytical skills, comfortable working independently and as part of a team
