Regional OTR Truck Driver – Palestine, TX

About the role

Walmart is seeking experienced regional OTR truck drivers to transport freight safely and on time across the Southern United States. You will plan your day, prioritize loads, and work closely with a team to keep deliveries moving while enjoying weekly home time.

Key responsibilities

• Plan daily routes, set priorities, and communicate with dispatch and teammates.
• Complete all required paperwork and electronic logs accurately, adhering to DOT, state, and company regulations.
• Operate and inspect tractor‑trailer before, during, and after each trip to ensure optimal condition.
• Follow optimized routes, traffic laws, and local restrictions to minimize delays.
• Uphold Walmart’s safety, integrity, and professionalism standards on every mile.

Required profile

• Valid Interstate (Class A) Commercial Driver’s License with Hazmat endorsement (or obtain within 120 days of hire).
• Minimum 30 months of full‑time Class A tractor‑trailer experience in the past 3 years.
• Clean driving record: no more than two moving violations, no serious traffic violations, and no preventable accidents in the specified time frames.
• Live within 250 miles of the assigned facility or be willing to relocate within 90 days.

Required skills
