ASAS Health is hiring a Regional Medical Director for its senior care practice covering Corpus Christi and the Rio Grande Valley. The role is split 50% leadership and 50% clinical, delivering compassionate, comprehensive primary care to a senior population while supervising APPs. The practice offers a manageable panel with ample appointment time, an athenaOne EMR with AI documentation tools, and full clinical and administrative support.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver primary care to a senior population, partnering with medical assistants, care coordinators and clinical pharmacy support to close care gaps and improve outcomes.
• Spend 50% of time in clinical care and 50% in leadership duties.
• Meet APP supervision requirements.

Required profile

• MD or DO from an accredited school.
• Completed residency in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Geriatrics.
• Board certified or board eligible.
• Meets ASAS credentialing standards.

What we offer

• Compensation of $327,000 - $405,000 per year, based on a full-time commitment (35 patient-facing hours and 5 clinical admin hours per week), with a base salary and a variable incentive bonus tied to productivity and quality.
