About the role
Alcon is seeking a Regional Account Manager for the Eastern United States to lead market access initiatives across Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. You will work with external stakeholders and internal teams to ensure optimal reimbursement, commercialization, and patient affordability for Alcon’s eye‑care products.
Key responsibilities
- Build disease awareness with key partners and support treatment initiation processes.
- Develop and implement strategic market access plans to achieve optimal reimbursement and commercialization.
- Lead cross‑functional teams to align market access strategies with business objectives.
- Engage payers, providers, policymakers, and reimbursement authorities to advocate product value.
- Oversee preparation and submission of reimbursement dossiers and related documentation.
- Monitor policy changes and respond to impacts on market access.
- Drive evidence‑based differentiation to communicate market access objectives.
- Collaborate with Global Market Access teams to localize studies and influence pricing and reimbursement.
- Provide strategic direction across multiple projects, influencing major investments and partnerships.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (e.g., high school + 15 years, Associate + 11 years, M.S. + 4 years, PhD + 3 years).
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in market access, reimbursement, or related fields.
- Fluent in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
