Referral Coordinator - Ostomy Care

About the role

The Referral Coordinator supports Ostomy Care by creating and processing referrals from healthcare professionals into the company database, confirming orders and shipments. The role ensures accurate insurance verification, documentation, and communication with providers and patients.

Key responsibilities

• Process referrals from external sources, validate medical files, and load information into the CM database.
• Verify patients' insurance benefits by contacting carriers and document findings.
• Review medical records for completeness, correct deficiencies, and ensure required signatures are obtained.
• Research and resolve order issues, communicating with HCPs, insurers, and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate customer records in compliance with corporate guidelines and quality standards.
• Provide telephone support for inbound and outbound referral inquiries.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of contact‑center experience.
• English/Spanish bilingual preferred.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative and handle stressful situations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
