Red Team - Offensive Security Analyst - Manager

About the role

Join EY's Active Defense team as an Offensive Security Analyst Manager, where you will use adversarial testing and threat‑hunting techniques to strengthen the firm’s security posture. You will work closely with both technical and business stakeholders to validate detections, improve defenses, and drive continuous security improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Emulate adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) in Purple‑Team exercises to test and validate security controls.
• Conduct proactive threat‑hunting across SIEM, EDR, and other telemetry sources to uncover hidden malicious activity.
• Perform anomaly analysis and develop cyber‑deception scenarios to disrupt attacker operations.
• Collaborate with incident response and security operations teams to prioritize and remediate identified gaps.
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences, producing actionable recommendations.

Required profile

• Strong background in information security with hands‑on experience in offensive security.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
