Recruiter – Technology & Product

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Recruiter to lead talent acquisition for our growing Product & Technology, Marketing and Corporate teams at Sotheby’s. The role will partner with technology leadership and the broader HR function to design and execute recruiting strategies that attract top talent.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary talent partner for engineering, product, program/project management, design and related technology functions, including SAP, IT and InfoSec.
• Collaborate with product, technology and operations leaders to identify hiring needs and develop strategic hiring plans.
• Manage the full‑cycle recruitment process – sourcing, interviewing, offer negotiation and closing – ensuring a fast, efficient experience.
• Leverage and expand sourcing channels such as employee referrals, recruiting tools and professional networks.
• Drive diversity recruiting initiatives and meet established diversity goals.
• Utilize data and analytics to inform recruiting decisions and improve processes.
• Represent Sotheby’s brand internally and externally, delivering a positive candidate experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of full‑cycle recruiting experience, with proven technical recruiting expertise.
• Demonstrated ability to work with technical leadership throughout the hiring process.
• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple searches and stakeholder relationships.
