Recruiter & HR Assistant (Louisiana)

About the role

Struction Solutions is looking for an organized and energetic Recruiter / HR Assistant to support its growing workforce across multiple service lines. The role involves managing the full recruitment cycle, onboarding new hires and contractors, and providing day‑to‑day HR support.

Key responsibilities

• Source candidates via job boards, social media, referrals and databases.
• Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews and schedule in‑person interviews.
• Maintain applicant tracking systems and coordinate recruiting campaigns.
• Attend job fairs and networking events to build talent pipelines.
• Assist with workforce mobilization during surge or disaster‑response events.
• Coordinate background checks, drug screenings and employment verifications.
• Prepare offer letters, onboarding packets and manage employee/contractor records.
• Support benefits enrollment, training certification tracking and compliance documentation.
• Generate recruiting and HR reports for management and handle special projects.

Required profile

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in recruiting, staffing, HR or administrative roles.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational abilities.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Self‑starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
