Recruiter – Hospitality and Light Industry (Remote)

About the role

A recruiter is sought for the Hospitality and Light Industry division, working from home. The position suits someone experienced in high-volume recruiting who is comfortable cold calling candidates and following established recruitment processes and performance metrics. Work is required during New York business hours (Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5:30 pm Eastern Time).

Key responsibilities

• Source candidates for light industrial and hospitality staffing roles, including chefs, waiters, truck drivers and forklift operators.
• Make cold calls to potential candidates about job opportunities.
• Source, screen and evaluate candidates for open roles across various industries.
• Meet performance metrics such as daily calls, submissions and placements.
• Build and maintain strong candidate relationships.
• Work with the sales director and colleagues to meet hiring goals.
• Document candidate conversations accurately and on time in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Follow up with candidates and hiring managers through the interview and placement process.

Required profile

• Proven recruiting experience in light industrial and hospitality staffing, with an emphasis on cold calling.
• At least 2 years of agency recruiting experience.
• Fluent English (writing, speaking and listening) and bilingual in Spanish.
• Ability to work US business hours (Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5:30 pm Eastern Time).
• Strong organization, time management and communication skills.
• Comfortable working with performance metrics.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting tools.
• Reliable home office and Windows computer setup with seamless internet access (mandatory).
