Reconstruction Superintendent

About the role

The Reconstruction Superintendent acts as the front‑line sales and scoping representative for SERVPRO reconstruction projects, converting mitigation hand‑offs into signed jobs and managing the scope through to final invoicing.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and prioritize reconstruction opportunities after mitigation hand‑off, responding to residential and light commercial losses.
• Perform site inspections, capture detailed field documentation (photos, measurements, 3D scans, sketches, safety concerns) and develop accurate reconstruction scopes.
• Provide scope information to the estimating team, review estimates for accuracy, and communicate with homeowners and adjusters to obtain approvals.
• Obtain signed contracts and job‑start documents, discuss deductibles and payment terms, and own all scope changes from sale through final invoicing.
• Determine lead fit, decline or escalate as needed, and re‑engage after hand‑off for revised scopes or supplements.

Required profile

• Strong construction background with credible knowledge of building trades and restoration methods.
• Experience in insurance restoration, able to assess losses and scope work back to pre‑loss condition.
• Ability to read and interpret Xactimate scopes; prior estimating exposure required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Physically able to work on ladders, roofs, crawlspaces and lift/inspect damaged sites.
