Reconstruction Estimator

About the role

The Reconstruction Estimator leads the full lifecycle of reconstruction projects, from estimating and scope development through execution, financial performance, and final closeout. This operational leader drives revenue, protects margins, and ensures client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections, develop detailed estimates using Xactimate, and manage revisions based on carrier feedback.
• Oversee projects from contract signing to completion, coordinating labor, materials, subcontractors, and maintaining quality and safety.
• Own gross profit performance, monitor labor efficiency, subcontractor costs, and ensure accurate billing and collections.
• Serve as senior point of contact for property owners and insurance adjusters, leading claim negotiations and maintaining strong carrier relationships.

Required profile

• High school diploma (required) and a valid driver’s license.
• 5+ years of construction project management and estimating experience.
• Proven track record managing project financial performance and strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to work on‑call rotation and supervise team members.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Xactimate estimating software.
• Construction estimating and project management expertise.
