Senior Construction Representative

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Construction Representative to provide on‑site quality assurance, inspection, and oversight for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Old Hickory Turbine Generator Rehabilitation Project, a $90 million industrial construction effort.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily construction inspections and quality‑assurance reviews.
• Verify contractor compliance with plans, specifications, schedules, and safety requirements.
• Review contractor quality‑control reports and document findings in RMS.
• Track deficiencies, RFIs, and corrective actions.
• Participate in construction meetings, inspections, and safety reviews.
• Review submittals, as‑built drawings, and progress documentation.
• Prepare daily reports and recommendations on work acceptance.
• Mentor junior staff and support project close‑out activities.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in construction, preferably industrial, welding, or machining environments.
• Strong knowledge of quality‑assurance inspections and contract compliance.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain First Aid/CPR and USACE Construction Quality Management training within two months of hire.
