Receptionist at Dance Studio

About the role

The Art of Motion, a dance studio in Fayetteville, AR, is looking for an organized and outgoing receptionist. You will be the first person clients see and will handle a mix of clerical and administrative duties such as greeting visitors, registering students, answering phones and handling email. The position is part-time, about 20 hours per week, and is in-person.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist dancers, families and visitors
• Answer phones, take messages and respond to emails
• Answer questions about classes, schedules and studio activities
• Help families with class registration and general account questions
• Direct questions or concerns to the right team member
• Update student and family information accurately
• Keep the front desk and lobby organized and welcoming
• Assist with filing, data entry and other routine office tasks

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous customer service or office experience preferred
• Friendly, professional communication skills
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Ability to manage several tasks and stay calm during busy periods
• Dependability and availability for the required schedule (Monday-Thursday, 3:00-8:00 PM)

Required skills

• Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
• Familiarity with Google Drive and Google Docs
