Readiness Support Specialist

About the role

The Readiness Support Specialist (RSS) assists the clinical team in a fast‑paced residential behavioral health setting, providing peer case management, intake support, and coordination of after‑care services.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate Right Track Readiness group and support client orientation.
• Assist with intake, client file creation, maintenance, and telehealth appointments.
• Provide individual peer case management, crisis management, and coordinate after‑care services.
• Help clients complete applications for government assistance, handle legal issues, and refer to external agencies.
• Perform administrative tasks such as copying, collating, and filing program materials.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED; 1‑2 years related experience or equivalent.
• Peer Support Specialist certification (or obtain within 90 days).
• Current CPR/First Aid/Narcan training, negative TB test, and valid Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Must be in recovery for at least 6 months and meet Arizona Department of Health Services personnel requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Working knowledge of addiction, recovery, and twelve‑step programs.
