React Node Senior Software Engineer I

About the role

We are seeking an experienced full‑stack developer (React & Node) to build cutting‑edge front‑ends for a mission‑driven healthcare organization. The ideal candidate is a collaborative senior engineer with an automation mindset, eager to create tools, agents, or AI‑assisted workflows that amplify team impact.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex applications using React (frontend) and Node.js (backend).
• Ensure seamless integration between client‑side and server‑side components for responsive, scalable, and secure web applications.
• Develop user interfaces for a large web monolith and smaller micro‑frontends, maintaining high standards for accessibility, performance, and usability.
• Lead applications through the full software development life‑cycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
• Drive high‑quality releases through continuous integration, code reviews, and automated testing.
• Identify and build internal tools, AI‑assisted agents, or workflow automations to increase delivery velocity.

Required profile

• Current frontend and backend expertise in both React and Node.js.
• Experience working on moderate to large web monoliths and taking applications through the complete project life‑cycle.
• Extensive experience with Agile delivery processes.
• Proven ability to collaborate with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Understanding of critical applications in the science, medicine, or education verticals.
• Automation mindset with experience building tools, scripts, or AI‑assisted workflows.
