R&D Engineering Technician – Ultrasound

About the role
Support the R&D team by maintaining laboratory equipment, building prototype ultrasound transducers, and helping execute product testing activities that drive innovative healthcare technologies.
Key responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on laboratory machinery and equipment to ensure a safe, organized, and efficient R&D environment.
- Support the construction and assembly of prototype ultrasound transducers for early‑stage product development and new product introductions.
- Operate and support various laboratory testing equipment used for reliability and validation activities.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues, coordinate with engineers and vendors, and help identify practical solutions to technical challenges.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and lab technicians to improve processes, support prototype builds, and contribute to multiple R&D projects.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or Vocational Education.
- Enjoy hands‑on work, comfortable assembling, testing, troubleshooting, or maintaining products and equipment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; effective team player with cross‑functional, multi‑site teams.
- Self‑starter, highly motivated with good organizational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to meet the minimum physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements with or without accommodation.

- Pay range $26 to $40 per hour (actual base pay may vary).
