Program Manager, Exploratory Innovation Teams

About the role

Philips Research is looking for a strategic and entrepreneurial Program Manager to lead the Exploratory Innovation Teams (XITE) portfolio. You will partner with the Exploratory Innovations Program Lead and cross‑functional teams to drive healthcare innovation through AI‑enabled processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage core XITE portfolio processes, including calls for proposals, project intake, evaluation support, governance materials, and tracking.
• Support delivery of selected innovation projects, coordinating decisions and progress with internal and external partners.
• Create and refine AI‑enabled workflows to improve efficiency, consistency, and insight‑driven decision making.
• Develop executive‑level presentations, portfolio updates, and decision materials for leadership.
• Track and communicate portfolio performance to identify continuous improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in innovation, program management, consulting, or related roles, preferably in health technology or research.
• Proven experience managing a portfolio of initiatives with financial and non‑financial ROI tracking.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with AI‑enabled processes or automation.
• Strong analytics and quantitative abilities.
• Familiarity with Machine Learning and Big Data concepts.

What we offer

• Base salary range $136,000 – $216,000 per year.
