Raw Materials Coordinator – Second Shift

About the role

The Raw Materials Coordinator supports PepsiCo Beverages North America by ensuring that all raw materials and ingredients are available on‑site for production lines. Working on the second shift, you will partner with manufacturing leaders, suppliers, and warehouse teams to keep inventory accurate and production running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Identify raw‑material requirements for the plant and place orders accordingly.
• Validate material forecasts and maintain strong relationships with suppliers as the primary point of contact.
• Address quality or service issues with suppliers using accountability tools.
• Conduct weekly counts and reconciliations of all raw materials.
• Optimize inventory levels to match supply and demand.
• Communicate new‑product details to manufacturing, warehouse, and frontline teams.
• Monitor daily inventory levels, relay needs to production, and capture feedback for suppliers.
• Complete APS transactions and all period‑end financial processes.
• Support quality initiatives by reviewing documentation for food‑safety and food‑defense compliance.

Required profile

• Willingness to work occasional weekends and participate in period‑close activities.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with suppliers, production staff, and quality teams.
• Ability to understand real‑time production demand and translate it into inventory actions.
• Commitment to maintaining accurate financial and inventory records.

Required skills

• Experience with APS (Advanced Planning System) transactions.
