Radiologic Technologist – PRN (as needed)

About the role

The Radiologic Technologist provides on‑demand imaging services at the Beachwood Family Health and Surgery Center, supporting physicians with high‑quality diagnostic images. This PRN position works varied shifts, including weekends, to meet patient needs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general radiology, portable, and fluoroscopic examinations using stationary units, mobile machines, C‑arms and fluoroscopy systems.
• Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Educate patients about procedures, maintain their comfort and safety, and document all examinations.
• Assist with scheduling, prioritize cases, and support billing processes.
• Report equipment malfunctions to management and the help desk.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in good standing.
• Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferred: at least one year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist.

Required skills

• Operation of stationary x‑ray units, mobile x‑ray machines, C‑arms and fluoroscopy systems.
• Proficiency with PACS for image acquisition, archiving, transmission and printing.
