Pharmacy Technician PRN - Ambulatory

About the role

The Pharmacy Technician PRN supports the high‑volume ambulatory pharmacy at Beachwood Family Health and Surgery Center. This position works day and evening shifts on a flexible, as‑needed basis, providing accurate and timely medication services to the east side community.

Key responsibilities

• Fill and process 500‑800 prescriptions daily, including answering phones and supporting front‑counter operations.
• Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems and medication carts.
• Prepare orders, manage inventory, and repackage bulk medications.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and fellow technicians to ensure patient‑centered pharmacy services.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through PTCB or NHA.
• Registration with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy as a Certified Pharmacy Technician, Registered Pharmacy Technician, or Pharmacy Technician Trainee (must be upgraded to Certified within 6 months).
• Availability for 1‑2 shifts per week, minimum 2‑3 days per week, with weekday coverage preferred.
