Radar Algorithms Engineer

About the role

Reliable Robotics is developing safety‑enhancing aviation technology using phased‑array radar. As a Radar Algorithms Engineer you will join a small, cross‑functional Radar Engineering team to design, develop, and certify advanced radar processing algorithms for short and long‑range object tracking and radar imaging.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze phased‑array radar systems and develop processing algorithms in Matlab, Python, and C++.
• Drive system‑level requirements, conduct trade studies, and support integration of radar on aircraft.
• Implement real‑time radar algorithms on FPGA/DSP platforms and support flight‑test data collection and analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or related field; 8+ years of hands‑on radar algorithm experience.
• Experience with pulsed and FMCW processing, airborne radar testing, and integration of electronic sensors.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% and ability to comply with U.S. export‑control requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency in C++, Matlab, and Python (Python preferred).
• Expertise in FPGA and DSP‑based real‑time processing.
• Strong background in radar signal processing, system design, and test integration.
