Quality & Safety Manager – Substance Use Disorder Treatment

About the role

CRI-Help is seeking a Quality & Safety Manager to lead its quality program across its substance-use-disorder treatment facilities. The manager will supervise a team of analysts, drive accreditation readiness, ensure regulatory compliance, and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, coach and evaluate two Quality & Safety Analysts.
• Coordinate CARF survey preparation, hosting and post-survey follow-up.
• Maintain evidence of conformance to regulatory, licensing, contractual and accreditation requirements.
• Track regulatory changes and lead policy updates and staff communications.
• Manage ongoing quality improvement projects and lead ad-hoc project teams.
• Implement new policies and procedures across all programs and levels of care.

Required profile

• Experience supervising staff in a healthcare or behavioral-health setting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of CARF accreditation and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to lead quality improvement initiatives and manage cross-functional projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of CARF accreditation standards.
• Familiarity with regulatory and contractual compliance in healthcare.
• Quality improvement methodologies (e.g., Plan-Do-Study-Act).
• Project management and team leadership.
