Quality Production Specialist (Experienced)

About the role

Boeing is seeking an experienced Quality Production Specialist to join the Boeing Global Services (BGS) team in New Orleans, LA. The role focuses on overseeing quality directives, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with Boeing’s quality management system during maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide oversight of quality directives, policies, processes, and procedures.
• Collect and verify data to identify root causes of routine problems.
• Perform audits to assess compliance with QMS standards, configuration assurance, regulatory and customer requirements.
• Document audit results in standard formats and report findings.
• Support quality oversight of aircraft maintenance activities.
• Complete other assigned tasks while working under general supervision.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of aircraft inspection experience (FA‑18 preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to travel up to 10% as needed.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and solve problems.
• Experience with RCCA, CARs, PQDRs, EIs, and maintenance mishap incident investigations.
• At least 3 years of experience with Boeing quality assurance programs such as FOD and Tool Control.
