Quality Manufacturing Inspector – Buffalo, NY

About the role

Moog is seeking a Quality Manufacturing Inspector to join its Buffalo, NY site. You will support the production of advanced flight‑control components by ensuring parts meet strict aerospace standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide CMM inspection support for fabricated and machined parts across multiple departments.
• Run CMM inspection programs and perform manual inspections on simple to complex components.
• Assist machinists with inspection equipment, drawing interpretation, and quality‑related tasks.
• Execute precision inspection operations using surface plates, height gauges, gauge blocks, and indicators.
• Inspect complex parts with multiple features and ensure accurate measurement results.
• Perform daily machine maintenance, including calibration and probe qualification.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED (preferred) with the ability to follow English work instructions.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a quality or manufacturing environment.
• At least 1 year operating a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), preferably Zeiss.
• Demonstrated knowledge of GD&T and technical drawing interpretation.
