Quality Management Analyst 2

About the role

The University of Miami’s Pathology Department is seeking a Quality Management Analyst 2 to perform complex data analysis, validation, and reporting on clinical quality and outcome measures. The role supports compliance with external regulatory agencies and collaborates closely with Credentialing and IT teams.

Key responsibilities

• Abstract and analyze data to maximize productivity.
• Measure and benchmark performance against best practices and internal objectives.
• Maintain data integrity, resolve issues, and monitor new data and reporting systems.
• Create customized and recurring reports for senior management and conduct ad‑hoc analyses.
• Monitor quality and safety metrics and produce reports for meetings, projects, and committees.
• Validate data entered by staff and prepare comprehensive documentation.
• Research program rules with regulatory agencies and manage departmental calendar for submission deadlines.
• Collaborate with Database Technology Managers on decision‑support databases.
• Serve as a resource for staff, physicians, and patients on data‑analysis matters.
• Adhere to university policies and safeguard assets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of industry trends in quality and outcome measures.
• Strong analytical and data‑validation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
