Quality Control Technician

About the role

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for planning, coordinating and executing testing and inspection activities for raw materials, in‑process materials and finished products. The role also oversees environmental monitoring in production areas and supports product development and validation studies.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform internal and external QC testing and inspection.
• Sample raw materials, intermediate and finished products for analysis.
• Release raw materials and production‑related materials after approval.
• Plan, execute and report environmental monitoring (EM) of production zones and utilities.
• Conduct shelf‑life and validation studies, including sample preparation and data reporting.
• Calibrate, maintain and document QC and EM equipment.
• Maintain QC databases and ensure up‑to‑date documentation.
• Communicate with external laboratories for test planning, execution and results.
• Participate in product development, risk‑management teams and quarterly dose audits.
• Train new and existing QC personnel as needed.

Required profile

• Knowledge of quality control requirements and regulatory standards.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and handle hazardous materials.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical mindset.
