Quality Control Technician

About the role

The Quality Control Technician provides technical support to quality engineering functions, coordinating inspections of products, materials, components and parts throughout the production process to ensure compliance with established standards.

Key responsibilities

• Follow up on quality reviews and report any anomalies.
• Review incidents in work cells and collaborate on team solutions.
• Assist the quality engineer with troubleshooting and determining corrective actions.
• Recommend and support new or improved methods, procedures and quality standards.
• Conduct audits at work stations to reduce quality events and ensure product specifications are met.
• Propose continuous‑improvement actions for manufacturing and inspection processes.
• Control non‑conforming materials and manage supplier rejections.
• Support calibration plans for measurement equipment.

Required profile

• Team player able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks.
• Strong organization, planning and time‑management skills.
• Self‑accountable for achieving goals and standards.
• Eligibility to obtain ITAR/EAR authorization (non‑US persons may be ineligible).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) – preferred.
• Metal fabrication experience – preferred.
