Quality Assurance / Quality Control Engineer

About the role

The Quality Assurance/Quality Control Engineer ensures that piping systems, mechanical HVAC units, and related components meet rigorous quality and safety standards throughout fabrication and installation. You will work closely with engineering, fabrication, and construction teams to verify compliance with specifications, industry codes, and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and tests on materials, welds, joints, and finished piping systems.
• Review technical drawings and perform dimensional checks.
• Assess weld quality and schedule third‑party inspections.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with QA/QC management and other inspectors to provide guidance and training.
• Coordinate two‑person inspection teams for safety and efficiency.

Required profile

• AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification.
• Experience inspecting mechanical systems, piping, and HVAC equipment.
• Ability to interpret engineering specifications and industry codes.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
