Python Developer

About the role

Wipro is seeking a Python Developer to join its Chicago team. You will work on building and maintaining Python‑based applications, creating robust REST APIs, and designing data processing workflows in a collaborative, Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python applications and services.
• Build and expose REST APIs using FastAPI or Flask.
• Design and implement data processing, transformation, and validation workflows.
• Work with SQL and relational databases for data modeling and querying.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely fixes.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience developing APIs with FastAPI or Flask.
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with JSON and REST services.
• Hands‑on experience with Git version control.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities.
